Hi, this is Cate! I have had so much fun in Israel. It is really great because we are experiencing tons of stuff.
The university where my Dad goes to school is my favorite place to be. There are tons of cats there. It is really strange because all of the sudden you can see a lot of cats. I have seen two cats there, at the school, and they have been very nice to me. They let me pet them and they just come to you. One is named Mr. Orange and one is named Cranky because he is not as friendly. It is really fun and cool. There are also a lot of cats everywhere. This is really different than the United States.
Another activity we did was a field trip. I got to go to a Biblical garden with my Dad and Mom and we got to see all different types of plants. My parents actually really liked it, too. We actually got to do real shepherding. While we were shepherding, I got to pick up a baby lamb. He was brown and white speckled. Everyone there was very nice, even the college kids.
The thing I do not really like is the gas from the busses. It really smells strong and I do not like it.
The stuff we do here is really different and very unusual. I would like to be here very day! Bye, guys!

Hi Cate, I just finished an email to your mom and up popped your Blog. Great Job Cate!! I love hearing your adventures, and the sheperding sounded so fun. I too would love to see the plants of Jesus time, but I can see that it might not be so fun for you. Wow, you are in university, you are soo smart!! Thanks too for the pictures, it almost feels like I am right down the street. I talked to your nana yesterday and she is so excited to come see you soon. Have fun, say hi to everyone, Love, Ms Nancy
Dear Cate,
It is fun to read about the things you are doing. I really like the picture of you and Mr. Orange. In Colombia we didn’t see a lot of cats but we sure did see a lot of dogs. I liked playing with them in the parks. I know what you mean about the strong smell that comes from the busses. I had brown boogers the whole time because it smelled so strong. Yuck. I miss you but am happy that you like where you are living. I can’t wait for you to meet my new sisters. I love you. Isabel
Hi Cate!
WOW Cats everywhere, my Dad would be really sick, he is allergic to cats. It sounds like you are having fun with your family. It is very cold here in Michagan. We made a snow fort with three tunnels. Your classmates were asking when you are going to get back. The 100 day of school is tomorrow and Cray’s birthday! Feb. 24th. Peace out LUKE B.
Cate the Great (as Mom often calls you) Grandpa & I have been anxiously waiting to read your very own blog..FINALLY! We are so very proud of you Lele! I can surely understand why Mr.Orange would love you so much, who wouldn’t? And you were so happy and excited to hold the sweet lamb as you were sheperding. I would have especially enjoyed the Biblical garden, with the beautiful, unique plants dating back to Jesus’ time. It’s great that you can go to Dad’s school and are enjoying your homeschooling experience,Cate. Give our love to all, and even though you would love to stay there everyday, Grandpa and I will be so happy to see you back home! Love you Sweetheart, Grandma & Grandpa xoxooxoxo
Hey Cate! It seems like you are having a lot of fun! Is Mr. Orange really cute? I love the picture of the little lamb. I’m going to have a blog when I go to China, too. I hope you have fun the rest of your trip!
Cate! I loved this! It gave me the biggest smile. I can’t believe you actually went shepherding and help a lamb. Thank you for sharing. By the way, you are a really great writer.
